For the Attn. Mr Martin Sawkins, Human Resources Manager
Dear Tim Parker & Martin Sawkins,
There are three issues which I am bringing to your attention, and expect
you to deal with as a matter of urgency:-
BONUS PAYMENTS
The bonus payments for December have not yet been paid, and failure to
do so with immediate effect will amount to County Court action against
you under the 1986 Wages Act.

ANNUAL LEAVE
Patrols who have booked two weeks leave are being allocated the two
weeks, often with one or two working days in between. Therefore, a
Patrol who is taking a holiday abroad would have to return to work for
two days, and then fly back out to continue his holiday.
This is a total shambles and airs nothing on your part, only disrespect
for your loyal staff. Again, your attention to this matter is urgently
required.
ROSTERS – START & FINISH TIMES
Most Patrols have received their rosters and again, quite deliberately
on your part, have failed to include start and finish times. Your
deliberate attempt to implement an ad hoc working system will not be
tolerated, and again your immediate attention is required.
Should you fail to act immediately on the above three issues, the GMB
will not hesitate, as you have seen over the past year, to bring these
matters into the open, and would go as far as to say that if you
continue to disrupt the lives of GMB members, we will not hesitate to do
likewise to yourself, if that means taking a demonstration to your home
address by Patrols and their families.
Yours sincerely,

PAUL MALONEY
